How can I delete my double inbox?
Hello,
I can't remember how, but in some way my Thunderbird shows my inbox twice. This means that every incoming email is shown in both inboxes and I have to delete them twice. I tried to upload a Word doc with print screen, but the uploading doesn't work (waited for 10 minutes to complete the download, but I keep seeing the 'pending' image). In the print screen you would see the 2 inboxes (1 with a lock icon and 1 without). In the inbox without lock icon I cannot delete emails the regular way (by pressing delete), but only by dragging them to the waste bin. Can you please inform me how I can delete 1 of the email boxes (preferrably the top one, without lock icon)? That would save me a lot of irritations. Thanks for checking my problem. I think I will only be able to test any solution you may have on Monday so no hurries.
Kind regards, Michel.

Given your concern I have trimmed your information to what is relevant here. The account information.
I am surprised that Word is not accepted as an upload format
Word is a format for the written word, just as the dialogs you type into here on the forum are. Both benefit from the inclusion of images, so the forum like word allows you to upload an image. I just checked and the upload is actually limited to PNG, JPG and Gif files. (when I say checked, I clicked the upload button and looked in the file types and they were the ones listed.
Now about your extra account. You will need to make an informed decision as to which to remove, the first listed is a POP account ans the second is an IMAP account.
If you are unfamiliar with the differences, you need to become so, at least at a high level. I suggest you start your reading here

there is more on IMAP synchronization here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/imap-synchronization
In the folder pane, select the account name and right click and from the menu select settings
In the account settings select the account you wish to remove, if it is not already selected. Use the account actions button at the bottom of the account list to select remove account.
All done. (I hope you removed the correct one.)

I know it will come as a surprise, but not everyone uses word. It is also particularly unsuited to being an image file format. So your limited on this site to the formats you can upload. I suggest you create your image in paint (It is a part of windows) and save the file as a PNG. Then it will work.
Could you please also do the following:
- Open the menu
> Help > Troubleshooting Information, then click Copy text to Clipboard.
- Go to a reply on this thread and paste (ctrl+V) the information into a reply.
I am not surprised that not everyone uses Word. I am surprised that Word is not accepted as an upload format ;-). No problem I made a PGN file. Below is the troubleshooting info. Although the space is not enough to include all info. Is it safe to post this info regarding my computer on an open forum? Thanks.

Thanks for only showing the account information.
I am unfamiliar with the differences between POP and IMAP, so I will read the articles you selected and see if I understand enough of it to make a decision. And I will ask a friend who will probably be able to help me with this.
At least I know now how to delete a mailbox. Now it's a matter of chosing the correct one.
Thanks for your help Matt!
