I have been unable to use Firefox for weeks now. I have uninstalled and re installed and still have the same problem.

A pop asking me to enable AOL Protection will not respond to any commands. I can un-check the box, but the action button does nothing. I have to use task manager to shut down firefox

What can I do to remove this AOL crap? I have Malware Bytes, AVG and Security Essentials installed on a Windows XP laptop. There is no other problems with my laptop other than Firefox not responding. : ( I
