Recommended Immediate Workarounds

While diagnosing the root cause, you can mitigate the pop-ups with these steps:

Disable External App Handlers in Firefox:
Go to Settings > Advanced > Open links in apps and set it to "Never". This prevents Firefox from dispatching intent schemes to the Android OS.
Install an Ad / Script Blocker:
Install uBlock Origin from the Firefox Add-ons manager (Settings > Add-ons). This blocks aggressive ad networks and redirect scripts that attempt to force app installations.
   Switch Default Search Engine:
If you are using Google Search, switch to an alternative like DuckDuckGo, Brave Search, or Startpage (Settings > Search). Google's mobile web interface embeds aggressive web-to-app intent triggers for Play Store and Google App services.
   Inspect Android App Links:
Go to Samsung Settings > Apps > Choose default apps > Opening links. If any disabled stub or alternative store is registered to automatically handle play.google.com or market:// links, clear its defaults

update software and device, reinstall, settings system reset to defaults
