I am not receiving email sent from a company I do business with. I have Thunderbird. How do I find my White list and black List to make sure it is on the White list and not on the Black List?

When the account is viewed in webmail, are the missing messages in the Spam/Junk/Bulk folder? Does the sender receive any error message about their mail being rejected by your provider?
