Bookmarks toolbar is empty

more options

I had to refresh Firefox. When I redesigned my toolbar, I moved the "Bookmarks Toolbar" icon to the toolbar. The Bookmarks toolbar is still empty, and I can't find the "Bookmarks Toolbar" icon anywhere. I reopened the toolbar editor, but the "Bookmarks Toolbar" icon is nowhere to be found. How do I find the icon so I can put it in the Bookmarks Toolbar, where I distinctly remember dragging it?

To quote Rosanne Rosannadanna (which tells you how old I am), "Never mind!"

Go into Customize mode and click the "Restore Defaults" button in the bottom-right corner.

You can drag the Bookmarks Menu button Bookmark Menu icon (star on tray) that shows the bookmarks in a drop-down list and drag the Library button that gives access to recent bookmarks and history from the Customize palette to the Navigation Toolbar. The Bookmarks Menu button has a "View bookmarks sidebar" menu item.

See "How do I add the Bookmarks Menu button to the toolbar?"

cor-el and zeroknight, thanks. I figured out the solution after I submitted the question--that's why I posted the "Never mind!" reply.
