trying access Attachments,.. tools>options menu not shown,..

Sorry but struggling to display some attachments. Have found references to the tools>options Menu,.. but cannot find this menu item either, ( but old thread ) Using Linux 20.04 and latest Thunderbird as downloaded (78.11.00 64bit). have exported from PST file to mbox file,.. and used importexport NG,.. to import mbox files and structure to local folder,.. Have looked in preference menus but nothing jumping out. Attachments 'appear to be there',.. but will disappear when I try to access them. Can someone pls point me in the right direction...

Linux uses edit > preference not tools > options.

Starting with Thunderbird 91 all platforms will use the term Preferences in favour of options.
