I have been wondering how to enable the "[x]" on my search bar so then i wouldn't have to backspace anything to type something else. How do i enable it? Do i need an Add-On for it? Is it easy to enable it?

Hi, not quite what you are asking for, but Clear Search 2 might do the job.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

Click in the Search Bar and the previous search should be highlighted - then just type the new search terms in the Search Bar. Doesn't that work for you?

Ctrl+K or Ctrl+A and ESC or Delete should also remove all content similar to using Ctrl+F and ESC for the Find bar.
