How do I get rid of the "Add Security Screen" without confirming it

more options

I have tried everything to get rid of the "Add Security Screen". It has Location: magma.ca:110, and says that the certificate belongs to another site, which could indicate identity theft!! So, I certainly don't want to confirm it! I cannot receive any emails at my regular email address at this time1 HELP!!!

Port 110 corresponds to unencrypted, unsecure POP protocol access. Normally Thunderbird would suggest using secure ports for this automatically. Is this not available at Magma or is this something you require on purpose?

I'd suggest inquiring with Magma about using SSL and IMAP, or at least using SSL for your access to email using POP. I couldn't find instructions to set their service securely.

Otherwise anyone on the same network will have trivial access to your credentials (and email) as the password will transit in clear text, without encryption and would be easy to capture.
