I have a searchbar that appeared on my tab bar - and when I open a blank page I get a Yahoo search page. How do I get rid of this?
I have a search-bar that appeared on the right side of my tab bar - and when I open a blank page I get a Yahoo search page. How do I get rid of this? It has a "help" button to the right of the search bar tha when pressed, I get the following pop-up window:

Hey cjanning,
Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If it doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
If it's just the Yahoo! toolbar, you can remove it by going to Tools > Add-ons.
Finally, your issue may be because you've been hit with some Malware.

Matt, it's not an extension or a theme, nor is it the Yahoo toolbar (in fact I have no toolbars installed). I ran a malware check with Malwarebytes and IOBit Malware fighter and came up clean. I just want to get rid of this search-box at the end of my tab bar.
I opened it up in safe mode, went and reset all settings back to default. I also disabled ALL add ons. Then I went to add ons manager and enabled all the ones I was 100% certain I added. In there, you will find two add ons, one is the yahoo tool bar and default tab 1.2.2. I left those two disabled and started firefox. The tab was gone. I am not sure if it connected to yahoo.com but it is from a company called My Search Results and they claim to be a company that that this is the easiet way to search.
