Would like to get a German spelling checker working within Firefox (similar to the way it exists for Thunderbird). Can that spelling checker be installed in Firefox 4?

Works like a charm; thanks. I find that when switching to the other language, one needs to right click on the first marked (unknown) word, then go down the opening window and change the active language.

You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu.
