All OK yesterday, today the graphics on Firefox 3.6.8 (& 4Beta) are weird. No images showing, buttons missing/moved etc, depending on the site. Have reinstalled both versions, no change. Checked AV, Malware, Spyware - nothing. Laptop with 3.6.8 on same network seems fine. Something must have corrupted on this PC - Java?? Any thoughts out there please? Bazzaw

Chosen solution

Try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the Safe mode start window.

Thanks Cor-el - the reset did the trick. A warning for others doing that - you will loose any entries in the InFormEnter add-on if you have it. Make sure you copy the entries out to a backup somewhere - now to find it. Bazzaw

I have this same problem. None of the firefox button graphics show, and no graphics load on websites. I am running Windows 2000 and Firefox 3.6.12. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, run virus detection, spyware/malware detection, etc. with no luck. Also loaded Firefox in safemode and reset all user preferences with no improvement.
