Exporting contacts, no bueno!

hawkman48

Have been trying off and on for last couple of days to export my contacts from Thunderbird into CSV format. Internet says it's easy. Just open TB> contacts> choose the contact list you want to export> tools> export> save it as CSV. Only option in tools is to export the whole profile into a zip file and no way to select just contacts saving in CSV. So, how do you save contacts as a CSV file, getting around the export of the whole profile?

You are missing the details. You are to open the addressbook, then select the desired addressbook, then click the three dots to the right.

admittedly, wherever you got those instructions, they're only half right..

Thanks for your reply. The instructions on the internet would have been a lot clearer if they said "3 dots right next to the selected list".

If you can recall where you saw those instructions, please reply with the URL and I'll see if I can get it changed. Thanks,
