I am having problems being able to send emails if Surfshark is activated. Been working with Surfshark for the last week or so. So far no luck. FYI: I do run Bidefender, AVG TuneUp and CCleaner. I have added an exception to Bitdefender. No changes to not being able to receive or send emails. None of my settings have changed in Surfshark or Thunderbird. Using Open VPN protocol and am getting a message all the time about Thunderbird trying to connect with connecting to imap.comcast.net and it just stalls there. If it does get sent, it does not get saved to the sent folder.

Also, at times when I close Thunderbird I have to go into task manager and delete before I can open it up again. Any ideas? Thanks

VPNs intercept messages. I am not familar with Surfshark, but I suggest you investigate ways to have it bypass email checks. This is a commonly reported issue from users using VPNs.

Thanks David, it was working for many months without problems. I think it is something that Surfshark is doing recently but have not given me an answer what to do to fix it.
