This was working ok until today. Now, only ONE of my mail accounts is sending mail to the "All Mail" folder as "Unread" and NOTHING is going to my Inbox. Anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

It seems that the last upgrade has broken something with sending emails. With my desktop version, I have no trouble sending and receiving emails. I am using version 142.0 (64-bit) of Thunderbird, and the desktop computer is Windows 10.

I have 2 issues sending emails.

First issue, my Pixel 9 Pro XL does not send emails anymore. It was working fine until recently. The email is stalled in the outbox. I tried reloading the outgoing server settings, I get an error message; see attached error message. My Android receives emails fine, but will not send them. My phone syncs well with my desktop. However, the outbox doesn't sync, so I can't send the stalled emails from the desktop when I'm back in my office.

Second issue is my POS program (Windward Software System 5) stopped sending out emails as well. I worked with the tech department at the software company, and they said it isn't an issue with them, nothing has changed with them, no upgrades or changes on their end. Some of our older machines here, that haven't received the recent upgrade with Thunderbird, are still sending emails fine. Just a couple of computers are having this trouble of not sending emails from out POS software, it's the ones that have received the Thunderbird upgrade. For the outgoing settings, we are using the default port 465, and the connection security is SSL/TLS. Authentication method: is a normal password. I am hoping you have an answer for me. Please don't share the attachment with the community forums. Everything else will be fine.

This just started yesterday, anytime I select Get Messages, I get an error pop-op saying there's not enough disk space. Disk is at 11GB free right now.

Windows 10 T.Bird 140.2.0esr

Yesterday I had a "glitch" with Thunderbird 140.2.0esr on MacBook Pro. I deleted two emails from inbox (as usual) and suddenly all the emails appeared gone from inbox and then beachball and crash of Thunderbird. When I opened it again, all appeared in order, BUT all of 2023-2024 emails are GONE from Thunderbird inbox, but are still on Google. I tried all I have read about this type of problem and tried (1) repairing folder, and (2) "Delete the corresponding .msf file.", neither of which worked. Could use some help.

I am almost at giving up point.-- trying to connect to my Office365 - try various settings , but the ones last used was this :

• smtp.office365.com, port 587
• STARTTLS
• OAuth2

at one stage I could get messages via IMAP - but that also now broken ....

Does anyone have an issue with Thunderbird not displaying Teams invites correctly. Would be useful to have a solution.

Hi there - I'm hoping someone can help. Following the July 2025 update to Thunderbird, I was suddenly unable to download my email messages into Thunderbird from my Rogers Shaw email account. When I try to do so, I get the error message: "Login to server pop.shaw.ca with username failed. I'm given three options - retry, enter new password (which hasn't changed), or cancel.

Does anyone have any idea what might have changed post update?

I have had Thunderbird on my HP laptop for several years. Everything has worked perfectly. BUT, I cannot receive Email, starting yesterday. When I click the Get Email icon, nothing happens. My Email server on Comcast is getting Email which I can see and read, but Thunderbird is not getting the Email. I would appreciate any advice.

My Sent Box is not showing recently sent messages.

I looked up this issue on your help site and it said I should repair the Sent box folder. When I did that, all messages from the Sent box have disappeared.

However, if I open up my email on my iPhone, and select the Sent box, all messages are there and current.

How do I get this corrected.

Recently my outgoing emails are timing out. I'm using a Windows 11 laptop with ESET, Malwarebytes, and Webroot. I've repeatedly checked the settings. I have not seen where Thunderbird is blocked but I may be missing that. Thank you for your time.

As of Tuesday August 27 about 11:30am CDT Thunderbird has stopped downloading emails.

I have restarted it a couple of times.

Pressing the download icon does nothing.

Any ideas?

I used to troubleshoot when Thunderbird would fail to download new messages by looking at the last successfully downloaded email. But I can't find the error log. I'm pretty sure older versions allowed you to see the error log under Tools. But it isn't there and developer section is not helpful. I have tons of message filters going into folders so it is impossible to identify the last successful email download.

How am I to fix this issue if there is no longer a way to see failed email downloads via the error log?

I wasn't happy with the UI changes burying the menus into the hamburger on the side, but figured I could live with it. Not sure the benefit, maybe it looks cleaner? But removing functionality at the same time is really NOT helpful.

Anyone have any ideas how to find the error log or find the email causing Thunderbird to stop seeing downloadable emails?

I used to be able to highlight an email once I had read it , then hit delete and the email would go to the Trash file. as of yesterday this does not work, the messages stay in my inbox.

Since last night, I am not able to receive emails. I rebooted everything and logged in again. I can send emails but when I click on "get emails" the response I get in the lower right hand corner is "connection to server.mail.comcast.net was reset. Please advise.
