Hmm, Firefox used to show HTTPS and hide HTTP. I guess now it hides both. To show both: (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter/Return. (2) In the search box in the page, type or paste '''browser.urlbar.trimURLs''' and pause while the list is filtered (3) Double-click the '''browser.urlbar.trimURLs''' preference to switch the value from true to false. Then you can check another tab (with an actual web page) to confirm success.
