bd_config.cfg in Firefox

I got the new FF update this morning and noticed shortly after when i got back online a bd_config.cfg file popped up onto my desktop windows 10. I deleted it not thinking anything about it and when back online again and it popped up again in fact everytime i did this it popped up no matter what i did and went online.

It has something to do with BitDefender i figured out uninstalled bit defender re installed it no luck

Refreshed\Reset Firefox with no luck either.

If you rename the file with a .txt extension and take a look inside, does it seem to be a Firefox AutoConfig file? That's a script file which Firefox reads at startup to override various built-in values. More info:

Those files are normally placed in the program folder, for example:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\

and not on the desktop. It's weird that it keeps showing up on the desktop, unless maybe Firefox keeps downloading it there -- does it appear on the Downloads list (Ctrl+J)?

im noooooooo good with software you gotta treat me a like newb here........

I think calling up the Downloads list is pretty easy (Ctrl+J).

It's a little tricky figuring out how to rename a file in Windows File Explorer. You could ask AI?
