Does it work any better on "old" Reddit? Example: https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/

In reviewing your extension list, it seems that your version of Adblock Plus might be over a year old? Could you try disabling it temporarily on the Add-ons page (Ctrl+Shift+A), Extensions list? (uBlock Origin should pick up the slack - you usually don't need both.)

Thank you for responding and the suggestions. After reading your message, I tried logging into Reddit again before trying them, and inexplicably am suddenly able to with no problem.

The only thing I can think is a Firefox developer may have read my issue and knew just the tweak to correct it.

Hi Michael,

Have you tried clearing cookies and site data for Reddit? It might also worth trying from a clean profile. I've been looking around on r/firefox and the webcompat website to find similar issue, but I couldn't find one.

Thanks for replying and the suggestion. Yes, I cleared cookies, cache, and did everything else i could think of but nothing so far has worked.

I ran into a somewhat similar issue after a previous Firefox update a year or two ago. After installing it, i could no longer view comments on the Disqus platform using Firefox Private Browsing. I can still see them using the regular browser, but not the private, so I don't private browse anymore.

What about trying on a new profile?

I'm having the same problem on 143.0.1 for Mac (Sequoia 15.6.1 on a Macbook Air). I can log into Reddit using Safari or the iPhone app, but in Firefox it tells me "invalid username or password."

I tried all the measures listed at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords but it changed nothing. Cache, cookies, history, etc.
