i got an email stating my cloud account would be disabled in 24 hours. I ignored the same message from yesterday and my yahoo account went down earlier today.

This sounds like a coincidence based on the sender email address.
What message are you getting from Yahoo? If you have a sign-in problem with not being able to connect using an AT&T login, there are a bunch of threads on that.
