I cannot download the latest Firefox update. I follow the instructions but nothing happens and I still have the old Firefox. Can you do it for me? Thank you.

It looks like you are using a package build from Ubuntu. If there are no more Firefox updates in your package manager then your distro version may no longer be getting package updates?

The official Firefox tarballs from Mozilla will get updates even if your distro is no longer updated.

There is no installer, make, build etc as you just extract and run the firefox-bin though the firefox script works also. You can then make a launcher shortcut to said file on desktop or panel or such. Make sure the Firefox folder has read/write permissions for the user to get internal Firefox updates from Mozilla as a easy way is to have Firefox folder in Home. Also this is not used to replace or update your package build of Firefox.

You could try installing the flatpak package.
