I am trying to play the content on this page https://www.itv.com/watch/long-lost-family/1a8904/1a8904a0080 and it says I can't . I use the help page it provides but the box it says to tick is already ticked...

Desktop Firefox browser

1. Go to about:preferences.

2. Scroll down to the "Digital Rights Management (DRM) Content" section.

3. Tick the "Play DRM-controlled content" box.

I did all the above and it still doesn't work. I am using the vpn so maybe that's it... I have my location set in London since its a Uk site.

Unfortunately since that's is a UK broadcast anyone clicking the link will not get very far clicking on the link. VPN could be showing the ISP location and that can also block your viewing of the link.

The article linked below may help. Are you able to play the content in another browser?

My VPN is set to London and other sites similar work (for example IPlayer for BBC). I tried the article before posting and the option was already marked. I unmarked and then remarked... refreshed the browser... I tried on Firefox and Google.

The site might be trying to prevent VPN geo-restriction circumvention.
