How to print past months in Calendar App

Every time I open the print option when in the calendar app in Thunderbird it wants to print only the current month. How do I tell it to print the previous month, or for that matter, any previous or subsequent month? Seems like it should be a pretty obvious thing to want to do but the app is as confusing as it can be!
