That is not possible, those ranges are set as fixed constants in the source code. See lines 77 and 218.

You can create a preference to show minutes in History (if they are not presently shown) and delete them there.

thanks @cor-el, i was literally asking how to edit the source code and where it was by the way :) also thank you terry for the urls and i think that by posting this question it may have been added?!

 TIMESPAN_5MIN: 5, this isnt in my copy of firefox but maybe it will be soon? :)
