Since my last upgrade the screen is scrambling, not all the time, but a lot.
Since last upgrade, I run Win 10,defender, have used FF since God...never saw it do this. The screen breaks up in blocks not all the time but a lot. I reloaded refreshed, ran in safe mode...still does it. Doesn't do it in MS browser either one...I don't use chrome.

Check your zoom controls.
<Control> (Mac=<Command>) + (plus) enlarge - (minus) reduce 0 (zero) restore
If the problem is fixed, this may be the problem;
It appears to be an issue that only affects users who have turned off ClearType font rendering within their windows settings. So a workaround for the moment would either be to turn ClearType back on or disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox: Firefox's performance settings How to Tweak ClearType in Windows for Better Screen {web link}

Here you go, it will do this threw refresh also. It doesn't happen all the time but most of the time, and it does not correct unless I get out and keep reloading several times...MS Browsers work fine, every time. As I said before it just started with last upgrade, then I refreshed install, and reloaded, and ran in safe mode. Actually this screen shot is in safe mode, no apps.

Yeah the cleartype worked but I am running a Radeon R9 200 series graphic card and cleartype is not needed and tends to slow some things. That is why when I upgrade graphic drivers it shuts off the cleartype. Just thought you might want to know. Thx
This is a known bug that is being worked on. Bug 658763 Missing text when Cleartype is forced via DirectWrite rendering-mode prefs but disabled in Windows
