Drop down boxes & menu bar drop down lists not showing in 32.0

more options

Just upgraded to Firefox 32.0 on my laptop running Windows 7 Professional, for some unknown reason, drop down boxes on various websites and Firefox menu bar drop down lists wouldn't showing. When you click into the drop down boxes, they just turn blue (as normal), but the list wouldn't showing. Firefox menu bar drop down list also behave the same way.

I have restarted Firefox under the safe mode and this problem doesn't exist. I suspect it is something to do with the "Default 32.0" under "Appearance" (as it was disabled under safe mode). There is no "Disable" button visible to remove this under normal mode. Obviously I cannot remove this under safe mode either.

I hope you can help as no setting changes made during the upgrade and this has become unusable (thus have gone to Google Chrome in the meantime).

Looking forward to your response soon.

Peter

Then it's caused either by one of your add-ons or hardware acceleration.

That's the default theme, and it's not actually disabled in Safe Mode.
