I suddenly have only intermittent email reception from some accounts - some emails come to me and others seem to vanish into the vapor and never arrive to my account. Any ideas?
I receive some emails from my wife's account and not others - same for some of my friends. Can't see a clear pattern yet. Other emails from other sources arrive just fine. Unclear as to which ones or how many others I might not be seeing.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
If your problem is with Mozilla Thunderbird, see this forum for support.
