natwest online site will not load
when firefox starts and no other web site has been visited AND clear recent history has been done then natwest on line banking will not load. If i load e bay first then goto natwest it loads fine !!!! Any suggestions ?

What is wrong with loading that site?
Is it a problem with a secure (https) connection?
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Tried cor -el suggestion but problem still manifests itself the same. Clear recent history from tools then go to natwest site using bookmarks. If i stop the website loading and then "reload current page" the site will load ok. Also if i go to another site, such as e bay , and then go to natwest site it will load ok !!! Very confusing. This has only happened since going to 8.0.1 version of firefox.
