Try starting Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox - if this works, try disabling all add-ons and enable them one by one to find the one causing the problem.

Please also report back here if you find the cause of the problem with this method, including all information on the extension (name and version number) so we can approach the problem from the inside.
