Flash suddenly stopped working

Hey guys,

My flash player used to work fine. But then, two days ago, I tried to play a flash game and it simply wouldn't load. At first I thought it might be a problem with the game, but to be sure I tried several other games and videos. None of them worked, I simply got a black space where it should be. To resolve my problem, I've tried reinstalling Flash, but that didn't work. I also tried to disable protected mode, but couldn't edit the file.

Firefox version: 40.0.3 Flash version: 18.0.0 OS: Windows 10

Does anyone have a solution for my problem?

There is another user on the support website that has reported a similar issue. Can you see if any of the steps that I provided to them will fix your issue? Their thread can be found here.
