I DO NOT HAVE SSE2. How do I update when I do not have the requirement?

Already did the CPU-Z and I definitely do NOt have SSE2, only SSE. What are my options? I now have FF15.0.1. I was satisfied with Version 2.x but when I updated to v3.0 back in '08 I lost all my bookmarks and half my Add-ons. Also, I prefer a black background with pumpkin text but it doesn't render all info on any web pages properly. Has this ever been fixed?

I'm not sure if SSE2 is a requirement or only a recommendation as it is under "Recommended Hardware".

You should try the Firefox 23 portable version if you meet the other system requirements (XP SP2 o SP3)

The portable version comes with its own profile folder and doesn't interfere with the currently installed release version.

You can download and install older versions of the Firefox program from this website.

WARNING: Using an out-dated version of Firefox can cause various security and functionality issues.

Hello JosephMW,

go and update to latest 23.0.1

your 15.0.1 you already have said that need also SSE2, see : Firefox 15 System Requirements

even the 4.0 said the same, see :

Firefox 4 System Requirements, 4.0 release at 18 March 2011 !

thank you
