Heloo markhaney, can you Back up your profile, so to restore again your personal data, and then delete profiles.ini file in Profile folder ?

You can also try to repair the disk permissions:

Hi,

Can you double check for the download at your 'Downloads' on your desktop and try to re-install if the same problem persists. The possible reason for error would be:

  1. Download incomplete the system shut down without knowledge
  2. Desktop doesnot support the Firefox 16.0.2 version

If those are not the reason behind your query, please re-install once again when you power on the machine the first time, before start working on other files in the system.
