How do I get Firefox to open?

I start my computer and I open Firefox by double clicking it, then the user menu comes up and I choose one and it comes up. But as soon as I close it and I repeat the process by opening it and choosing a user but it a window quickly pops up and closes and a crash menu comes up this keeps happening no matter how many times I try how do I fix this?
