I would like to restore the search from the box below the logo in the new tab instead of from the address bar, as I find this behavior unbearable.

The old method of setting the value of browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false no longer works on Firefox 148.

Are there any other solutions? I don't want to change browsers just for this problem!

Al momento no. E' però in discussione la possibilità di ripristinare quella opzione in un prossimo aggiornamento -> https://forum.mozillaitalia.org/index.php?topic=79944.0
