Thunderbird is unable to connect to a supervised Gmail account

I have access to some Gmail accounts. I can configure Thunderbird to access them without any problems. But I can't access via TB a specific Gmail account. Apparently, the problem is due to this account being supervised, i.e. it is a minor's account and it is supervised by me. I already access this account via an old TB profile, created when Gmail didn't require OAuth authentication. I created a new profile, and in it I can no longer configure access to this supervised Gmail account. The entire process comes to the attached web page, which reads: "Your browser is no longer supported. Please update to a more recent version." Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you research this issue, I think you'll find the answer is that Google doesn't allow access to supervised accounts with any desktop mail client. Access via the gmail web interface is allowed.
