So Firefox must have recently done an update on my computer and nothing is the way it was and it is driving me nuts. I can't just open bookmarks anymore, my download button is gone, and the one that really irritates me is having to search from the address bar and not the page like I have always done. Can someone please tell me how to fix all this, because honestly it is driving me nuts. Please help!!!

I am sorry to hear of your frustrations.

There may be a possibility that a profile exists with your bookmarks. So we can try to find it:

Type about:profiles in the address field and go.

On this profile management page, you will find at least one profile listed, especially the current one you are using. The current will be called Default.

Now there may be other profiles listed on that page, each with a button to launch.

Try launching them and seeing if any one of them, if you have more than 1, will contain your bookmarks.
