Disqus comments will not open in firefox version 55.

Disqus comments can no longer be loaded in FF 55. A box indicating the number of comments appears, as normal. Clicking on starts the rotary progress gif, as normal. Shortly thereafter, the gif disappears leaving the comment area totally blank.

Disqus worked fine in all FF versions prior to 55.

Disqus works normally in the Google browser.

I don't want to switch to the Google browser, but this problem may force me to make the change.

Do you have any plugins or most importantly adblock that can be interfering with web pages? Have you tried reinstalling the browser?
