Need to find extensive e-mail files that disappeared from Local Folders while I was on vacation.

All old e-mail files disappeared from Mozilla Thunderbird Local Folders when I tried to access after returning yesterday from vacation. Note: I am new to current version of Thunderbird, recently installed on my computer (before vacation) after my computer was professionally wiped clean after hacking incident. Currently, under Local Folders, only Trash and Outbox are listed.

Badly need to recover extensive files. Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your Thunderbird profile was professionally wiped clean as well. Did you create a backup prior to wiping your computer?
