How to change the tab search off of yahoo to a different search provider?
The new update has the default search bar as yahoo, i want to change this to google. also what happened to the tiles as everthing at the bottom has nothing to do with any of the tiles i had?

FF47.0.1 Win8.1 here I click on Tools (Alt+T)>Options>Search. Inside theres Default Search Engine, choose a new one.
Alternatively click the magnifying glass on the search, and at the bottom of the popup there is "Change Search Settings" that shortcuts to the menu above.

You can view, disable, and often remove extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. All extensions are optional. If in doubt, disable.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
