Using Firefox on Macbook w/OSX. "Options" menu is NOWHERE to be found. Not under File, Pref or anywhere else. WTF is it????
There's nothing "special" or "tricky" about my computer or my version of OSX.
All I want is to be able to find the OPTIONS menu in Firefox.
People/"helpers" keep saying it's under FILE......PREFERENCES.
Believe me............it's NOT.
Would someone PLEASE give a comprehensive, intelligent VARIETY of places to look? Because clearly, the answers that have appeared so far make no reference to "VERSIONS" of Firefox or versions of Mac OS......on which I'm beginning to presume the answer MUST depend.
Please don't make me post screenshots..........but I will if necessary.

Let ME be the first person/entity on any Firefox support forum I've seen to say............"THERE ARE/IS NO OPTIONS TAB/CONTROL/COMMAND IN FIREFOX OPERATING UNDER MAC OSX. ANY SETTING THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN FOUND UNDER OPTIONS IS, INSTEAD, FOUND IN PREFERENCES."

If you see mention of Options then for a Mac read Preferences. No need to look any further. It is one of the differnces between Operating Systems. See this rather old article for an idea of what happens
I do not use a Mac, but I do use Linux & Windows. So on Windows you have a set of drop down menus accessible by pressing the Keyboard Alt Key.one of those menus is Tools and has an Options menu.
On Windows keyboard shortcut Alt + T,O opens the Options menu. In any OS using the special address about:preferences {Key in to the address bar and press Enter) takes you to the same place.
Another method in Windows is to use the Right hand top menu button the one with a three bar icon
- Menu -> Options {cog icon)
On a Mac or Linux it will be Menu -> Preferences
Most users of Firefox use Windows so you tend to see explanations aimed at Windows users. Our documentation tries to correctly document what to do on a Mac, but occasional you may get the wrong information or no screenshot.

Does that resolve the problem for you ? Are you having any particular problem that caused to to ask this ? And if so do you need help with anything else ?
Tools > Options is Windows Firefox > Preferences on Mac OSX due to Apple HIG. Edit > Preferences on Linux due to Gnome HIG

That about sums it up UncleScotty. As I said before are you having any other problems or is it just trying to understand posts that mention OPTIONS.
