Is firefox my default browser again? Did a system restore &It set google as default browser, now can't open my mail

Can't open email since system restore, Had Firefox as default browser but restore changed it to google chrome, that's when problem began.

The Windows system restore feature can jumble up the files and break a lot of things...

Do you get a particular error when trying to access your mail? What is the message?

What if you go to your provider's home page and try using the Mail link from there instead of a bookmark?

Are there any other issues with Firefox that could be part of a pattern?
