One message seems to have got stuck, two days ago, and although it says it is downloading, it's not coming through. Other messages are now queuing up behind it.

Suggest you access the webmail account using a browser.

Locate the oldest email that did not download and move to another folder. It could be emails in a spam folder, so empty the spam folder.

then try to 'Get Mesages' in thunderbird.
