How can I sync bookmarks to ADD them to my current bookmarks, not replace them?

I synced my bookmarks from a previous version, then imported a json file of old bookmarks, thinking it was the one I wanted, but wasn't. So I have my old bookmarks, which some are what I want, but now I want to import bookmarks that are synced to ADD to my current bookmarks. I don't want to replace my current bookmarks with the synced bookmarks.

JSON replaces existing bookmarks, where a HTML bookmarks file will append existing bookmarks.
