Hi twotanked, Firefox doesn't have a method to share or print bookmarks. Here is a roundabout way to extract the list:

(1) Export your bookmarks to an HTML-format file

This article has the steps: Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file to back up or transfer bookmarks

(2) Open your HTML-format file in a Firefox tab

It's a web page.

(3) Use Find to track down the folder you want to share/print

(4) Select the part of the page you want to share/print

(5) Options:

(A) Copy the selection and paste it into an email for sharing -- if it's an HTML email, the lines should be preserved

(B) Print the selection -- doesn't show the URLs

  • Use the Ctrl+P shortcut for this because going through Print Preview may not offer the same option
  • Click Selection in the Page Range section of the Print dialog

There is a way to modify the page to show the URLs after the bookmark titles. I can post that later if you're interested.

I should mention that there are numerous bookmark-related add-ons available, and one of those might have a more convenient way to do this if you need to do it often.

You can also do this:

  1. open the bookmarks library (Ctrl+Shift+B)
  2. select one or more bookmark folders
  3. copy it (Ctrl+C)
  4. paste into a text file

The URLs and the (sub-)folder names are copied.
