On https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ I can't click on an add-on to open it
Firefox Quantum 64 bit (and previous releases), Win 7 and 10 machines, Administrator on both, problem exists whether or not add-ons are disabled. On https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
- Left-clicking on an add-on, category or See more... to open it does nothing.
- I have to right-click to open it in a new tab.
- Selecting an add-on in the search window results in the list disappearing without opening the add-on.
- I haven't run across another site that exhibits this behavior.
- Running Firefox as Administrator doesn't help.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
You will need to restart Firefox for this to take effect so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.,) and then perform these steps:
In Firefox 54 and below:
- Click the menu button and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac, Linux).
- Select the Advanced panel and the General tab.
- Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
- Close Firefox completely and then restart Firefox to see if the problem persists.
In Firefox 55 and above:
- Click the menu button and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac, Linux).
- Select the General panel.
- Under Performance, uncheck Use recommended performance settings. Additional settings will be displayed.
- Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
- Close Firefox completely and then restart Firefox to see if the problem persists.

See if you can find updates for your Intel(R) HD Graphics Family as they are a yrs old : driverDate: 8-8-2013 You can Google Intel(R) HD Graphics Family and find the download page, but you may have to know what generation chipset you are using. CPU-Z would tell you this https://www.cpuid.com/ Can also try : https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html I do not see any errors in the drivers as I have not seen them. Old & corrupted Drivers cause a wide range of issues. Please keep them updated to prevent issues and you never know when Intel will stop supporting them.
You are also at the life span of 5yrs and new tech and HTML5 Video and...
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Great answer! Made a new profile and transferred everything I needed from the old one, and now FF works as desired. Thank you!
