slow performance on a Surface Pro 2 machine
In the past few months I've experienced slow performance, while browsing, on my Surface 2 Pro machine. The resolution was to switch to Chrome (technician advise). I'd rather be using Firefox. Can someone help, please?

What is your computer system and Firefox?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
