How do I remove the Shopping sidekick plugin?

I've tried following the directions online which had me go to add-ons section of the browser but nothing shows up - these are annoying and for some reason I seem to get only ads of sexual nature that are going to get me in trouble at work. If I cannot remove this plugin I will have to remove Firefox from my machine which is to bad because I really like it.

could you go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...

You got some sort of adware bundle installed. Remove Conduit Plugin from Firefox, also, make sure there are nothing new installed in control panel. Anti-malware programs like Adwcleaner, Spyhunter , adaware should detect and remove Shoping Sidekick.
