Hello.

I've found myself to rely on Firefox for some specific workflows that require sending emails that are generated automatically by a website, and I use it across multiple devices, such as Windows, macOS.

Unfortunately, when it comes to iOS, using the aforementioned website, when tapping the relevant "mailto" button, nothing happens.

Some months ago the specific website that I use, was failing to do this action on any webkit browser, but this was later patched by the developer and the flow now works correctly within Safari. This was caused by stricter enforcement of "user-initiated" actions.

Unfortunately it seems that Firefox isn't either capable of invoking the mail client, or get the data from the website properly.

I want to try firefox on my iPhone but I don’t like that it shows recent searches on the homepage and I (or anyone looking over my shoulder) can see everything I searched. I think it just looks ugly and I don’t want to remove the search everytime I want a clean looking honepage. I have tried looking for the answer everywhere but to no avail. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. If It’s even possible.

apologies if this has already been brought up. i tried searching for it but i don’t really know what to call it so i can easily have missed it.

for a while now my firefox app has hidden my open tab when i leave the app, like it previously only did in private tabs. i’ve attached a screenshot to show what i mean. is this a new privacy feature and can i turn it off? i’ve tried to look through all my settings and uninstalled and reinstalled the app (in case it was a bug) but it still does this. i used to rely on getting a quick look at my open tab while flipping through apps so how it’s now hidden all the time is really inconvenient for me.

Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with web.whatsapp.com. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails. web.whatsapp.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can't add an exception to visit this site.

When I try to view pages of art on the site COMIC ART FANS, Firefox sometimes opens the jpgs but sometimes only gives me a visual description of the artwork, no picture. Chrome opens these pages, so does safari, what's wrong with firefox?

Pressing and holding on an image then selecting “save image” causes Firefox to crash on iOS. I checked the permissions to photos in iOS settings. I also tried to uninstall Firefox then reinstalled, same issue. I tried clearing the cache in Firefox settings

Exact same problem as reported in 2025: "My Firefox on iPhone has a malware that pops up a box urging me to call a phone number (which I won’t do) about a payment. It has Cancel and Ok buttons, both of which trigger another box from the dialer containing the same phone number. I cannot get to the FF settings or escape from that page because the pop ups immediately come back and reload the page. " Only difference from OP is the server url is recipes33-16045505ea03 . herokuapp . com

The posted solution was to reset history, but I can't get to that or any other controls or the url bar - canceling just reloads the page before I can initiate any action. A similar post suggested installing Malwarebytes but that requires enabling extensions which, again, I can't get to.

Right now Firefox is bricked by this and I have to use Safari :-(

Firefox is screwed up. Using iPad. Can’t find toolbar, can’t customize, ads interfering, everything looks totally different.wish I could talk to a human who can help me.Firefox used to be my preferred browser.

Noticed that Firefox on IOS was updated about 17 hours ago, so that may explain the current issue. When I open the app on my phone, it will be on the page I was last on, but would be frozen. Cannot add a new tab. Cannot add an address to in address bar. Nothing can be done u til I force quit the app, and then reopen the app afterwards (as long as I give it a couple seconds afterwards). Didn’t have this issue the day before.
