when I begin typing in a website or new tab, just a few letters will display sites I thought had been deleted. One in particular is displayed with a yellow star. How can I delete this site or any others??

The yellow star indicates that the site has been bookmarked. To delete the bookmark go to the site, click on the yellow star then click the "Remove Bookmark" button.

You can remove individual entries from the drop-down list. Move the cursor over the entry you want to delete so that it is highlighted, then press the delete key.
