Ancestry
Not sure what happened with my last update installation but I use Ancestry to do my family tree. It will load to the main page but will not let me get my dna matches. Please help.

The problem began erratically 2-3 days ago and degraded to the point you describe above. Yesterday I was still able to get pages to display after refreshing the screen 10-20 times. Cleared cache & cookies, cleared FF's "Enhanced Tracking Protections," and stopped all blocker add-ons, closed the browser, rebooted the computer. Today, nothing at all.
All is fine in Chrome though.

There have been several such reports. This support article may help.

@ Terry There is NO error messages. All the tabs on Ancestry works EXCEPT the page that displays the thousands of DNA matches. The page is blank except for the standard at the bottom of the page info that mentions Ancestry's privacy updates,..... When the results are displayed there are a few links within each result that can be clicked and opened, not exactly a popup but clickable links, so there's MILLIONS a clickable links on the results page. It is MOZILLA FIREFOX update issue,......
There is a bug report about this issue create that looks like some scripts are blocked because they are on a known tracking list (newrelic.com).

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems
Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

Disabling the DuckDuckGo PE extension allowed my Ancestry DNA matches to get through.
If you want to stay with FF, a workaround that (eventually) worked for me: 1. Be sure to start at Ancestry.com home page (don't use a shortcut/bookmark into an Ancestry DNA page) 2. Select DNA dropdown menu from Ancestry's control bar (at top of page), and select "DNA Matches" 3. Select either Maternal's or Paternal's "View Matches"* 4. Select "Reset Filters" from the Filter bar
- Step 3 does not work every time (i.e. it often opens a dead page). Go back to previous page, refresh it and try again. Repeat until it opens or until you give up. It usually opened for me within 5 repetitions.
No, the engineers need to fix the problem THEY created. If not I will abandon Mozilla Firefox.
