Over and over again it says Firefox is not responding. I refresh about every time I get on. Still same thing

Firefox not responding or timed out. Back to refresh again and last about 15 minutes then the same thing over and over again for about a month now.

I can understand your problem, because few days ago I get the same problem. You may try this: At your navigation bar where you type website's adress, type about:memory then Click on Minimize memory usage button once. You are done, hope you'll get rid of this behavior.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
