Lately I haven't been able to send email with attachment

This has happened with the last two weeks. Prior to that everything worked great. Using Win XP.

The only thing that's happened lately is that my email host, godaddy, had some issues that they have now resolved. I can now send and receive email with attachments through their web based email but I can't send an email with an attachment (most of the time) with my Thunderbird program.
